Colin Campbell

At Samphire my focus is on developing our slate of ambitious and returnable formats that can travel for the global market.

My experience spans entertainment, reality and factual entertainment formats. I spent the first seven years of my career at Syco Entertainment, home to The X Factor and Got Talent franchises. As well as working on the creative renewal of those brands, I developed new music and talent formats for UK and international broadcasters including The Greatest Dancer (BBC1), La Banda (Univision), Your Song (ITV) and Brilliant China (CCTV). I also developed the spin-off series Got Talent: The Champions, The X Factor: Celebrity and The Band. As well as a slate of gameshow commissions including Rolling In It with Stephen Mulhern (ITV), Keep It In The Family with Bradley Walsh (ITV), the quiz series Beat The Brain (BBC2), and the ITV true crime series The Investigator.

In 2020 I joined Lime Pictures, working with both the London and Los Angeles development teams. Series commissions included Lime’s first US broadcast series, Who Do You Believe? (ABC), Match Me In Miami (Roku), Love At First Lie (MTV), Vinnie Jones: In The Country (Discovery+) and Drama Queens (ITVBe).
